Mike Keller

Hello, my name is Mike Keller. I'm a local photographer from Baltimore . I started my photographic journey when my art teacher in high school encouraged me to pursue my photographic talents. At that time, I was influenced by the well-known photographers Ansel Adams and A. Aubrey Bodine. I found that I enjoyed creating photos of my surroundings. After college and years after getting into photography more and more, my visual interest and curiosity moved to Baltimore's harbor and the boats and ships resting quietly. I began to appreciate the tranquility of calm water and reflections of an early morning light as seen in much of my work. This sparked my interest to move on to the Chesapeake Bay. I began to journey to small water town villages. I was fascinated with the scenery, the pureness of the Bay, the working boats and those whose time had passed. I hope you enjoy the pics!
